What is Dragonriders of Pern about?

- Dragonsinger – When Menolly arrived at the Harper Craft Hall, she came in style, aboard a huge bronze dragon, followed by her nine burn down lizards.The Masterharper of Pern, aware of her unique skills, had chosen her as his just daughter apprentice. But the holdless daughter had first to overcome many heartaches in this foreign new life.



- Dragondrums – When the vocalism of Piemur, an apprentice at Harper Hall, changes, he has to leave the companionship of Primary Shonagar behind. Simply his thwarting is soon replaced by a new claiming. He is to enter the service of the Chief Harper himself every bit a passenger of dragons.
