Hey lovelies,

I stumbled across these crawly LA Girl lipsticks concluding week and I have been hanging out to share them with you! I was hunting for more Jordana lipsticks to swatch for the blog in a local dollar store, when I spotted a brandish of LA Girl lippies. I'd seen other lipsticks from the make in other stores which hadn't impressed me too much upon swatching, but I'd never seen this Luxury Creme line before, and the colours gave me pause. In that location were even testers, which is pretty rare in dollar stores around here, so I swatched 1... and was blown away. Then I swatched some other, and some other, and so before I knew information technology I was at the counter buying a pocket-sized pile of lipsticks. Willpower? What's that?

To offset with (yep, I'chiliad already planning to become back for more than!) I grabbed a option of colours that I knew I'd similar, and a few to push my boundaries a bit. Left to right, nosotros take Dreamer, Romance, True Love, Soul Mate and Sinful.

The lipsticks all accept glossy blackness packaging and a articulate cap and then you can easily come across the colour y'all're after. It reminds me of the Wet northward Wild Megalast lippy packaging, which is reinforced past the same fashion lip bullet.

In that location is a packaging flaw with these lipsticks - the proper noun of them is printed on the sticker that remains on the cap, and in that location'due south nothing on the residual of the lipstick to identify the shade. Dreamer

Dreamer is a glossy black. I had Lime Law-breaking's Styletto years ago and had a flake of destash regret - I wore it possibly twice ever, just I just missed having a black lipstick! So I was excited to pick this up. Dreamer isn't near every bit opaque as Styletto, it takes a little TLC to even out, simply information technology looks better from a distance, as you tin run across below. I'm going to try layering this over blackness liner for a night out - I've always wanted to recreate this Doe Deere look.

Romance

Romance is a purple leaning berry shade with a satin cease. This was a surprise favourite for me, I don't have anything like this. The colour pay off is really good and it has a slap-up texture, really smoothen and not at all drying.

Truthful Love

True Honey is a drupe tinged pink creme. This is another one that I really don't have anything like, the hint of imperial makes it different to my other pinks. Once again, this has fantastic color pay off and has simply the right corporeality of slip.

Soul Mate

Soul Mate is a pinky red creme - I'yard a bit of a broken record, I know, only this shade also had wonderful color pay off and texture. I tested this shade for vesture (without lipliner) and experienced minor feathering after ii hours, merely this is pretty standard for me - red and dark lipsticks plumage on me without fail if I skip lipliner unless they're a really matte formula. If you don't have whatsoever problem with feathering, you shouldn't have whatsoever bug with this one. I'k perfectly happy to apply lipliner, I find it improves habiliment fourth dimension for me too. Speaking of wear time, this lipstick lasted for vi hours on me without any issues, before wearing abroad during a meal. The flossy texture of the lipstick lasted too, it wasn't drying at all.

Sinful is a WHAM POW ultra bright coral creme! I Dear this one - no surprise there, coral lipstick is my kryptonite. This reminds me of MAC Toxic Tale, although I no longer accept that lipstick to compare information technology to. That reminds me, I must practise a comparison of my coral lipsticks. Like nearly of the other shades mentioned, this had infrequent colour pay off and the texture was groovy. Seriously, the flossy texture of these lipsticks is on par with (and in some cases amend than) brands you're paying a heck of a lot more for.

What I liked:

• Romance, True Dearest, Soul Mate and Sinful had exceptional, opaque colour pay off.
• All the shades had a smooth creamy texture which lasted well. They aren't drying at all in my feel.
• Ridiculously skillful price! (See 'Where to buy' below for prices)
• Great shade range - this is just a small-scale sampling, I also spotted nudes, browns, mauve, burgundy, more coral, orange and more.

What I didn't similar:

• I experienced minor feathering after ii hours with Soul Mate (but this is normal for me).
• Dreamer was a little catchy to apply evenly.
• The name label existence fastened to the cap makes it piece of cake to mix the shades upwards.
